Cheonan Recruited Shin Won-ho and Kim Joo-hwan
Cheonan City FC, led by manager Park Nam-yeol, is equipped with ‘tail wings’ that will add a sense of stability.
On the 7th, Cheonan announced that they had recruited left wingback Shin Won-ho and right wingback Kim Joo-hwan. Cheonan is expecting a lot from promising players from the youth team. 스포츠토토
From his young age, Kim Joo-hwan has been increasing his playing time through several professional teams. He hails from Pohang Jecheol High School, a youth team under the Pohang Steelers, and has consistently proven his presence through the U17 and U20 national teams. After his high school graduation, he was given Pohang’s first pick. His speed and dribble breakthrough are evaluated as strengths, and he is solidifying his position as a ‘defender who is good at attacking’.
Shin Won-ho, who played an active part in the U18 national team, was recognized for his growth potential early on and joined Japan’s J-League Gamba Osaka right after graduating from high school. His playing time was not enough, but he showed presence whenever the opportunity was given. He is evaluated as a versatile player who has not only his defensive power but also active offensive ability based on his quick feet and dribbling ability. He has the advantage of being able to play as a wing forward. Shin Won-ho, who returned to Korea after transferring to Suwon Samsung last year, will start anew in Cheonan for the 2023 season.
